However, many experimental facts in a certain degree contradict each other. Besides, many aspects of palladium oxides physical and chemical properties were previously not established. In the book the authors review the materials properties and key applications of palladium oxides including applications in catalysis, sensing, and energy storage. Semiconductor properties of palladium (II) oxide and palladium (IV) oxide are also presented with both experimental and theoretical data.
